How it works

A dated record helps when you need to show what was asked and when. Keep copies of letters and emails too. You also have the right to see your child's school records; ask in writing and the school must respond within 45 days, and before any IEPIndividualized Education Program: a written plan for a child's special education services at school. meeting or hearing.
